Free vegan apps for your Smartphone can be found, and the Food Network and Geeky Stuffs websites reported on Saturday, Dec. 1 which are the best free vegan and vegetarian apps for the Smartphone.
The Vegan Yum Yum free Smartphone app was created by vegan blogger and cookbook author Lolo. The Vegan Yum Yum app was created to make some of her best recipes easily searchable on the Smartphone. The Vegan Yum Yum app could come in handy while you are in the grocery store wondering what vegan meals to cook that week.
The Vegan Yum Yum Smartphone app has a clean, easy-to-read display, and it even allows you to check off the ingredients as you purchase them.
Whole Foods offers a free Smartphone app, but it is not specific to vegans or vegetarians, but the Whole Foods Smartphone app does allow you to narrow down your recipe search in the Whole Foods app menu. Not only can you tailor your search for vegan or vegetarian recipes, but you may also specify low sodium, gluten-free, and more.
Epicurious also offers a free Smartphone app that is not necessarily vegan or vegetarian specific, but allows you to access over 1000 vegan recipes compiled by vegan diet author Colleen Patrick-Goudreau. The Epicurious Smartphone app is easy to use and user-friendly.
